therapist los angeles

I’m a patient and empathetic therapist who believes in meeting people where they are in order to help move them to where they want to be. My work is grounded in the belief that therapy should be a collaborative and affirming space that honors your lived experience. As a queer-identifying woman, I have felt both the challenges and pain that come from existing in spaces that don’t attempt to understand my experiences or invalidate who I am, as well as the joy and freedom that comes from connecting with the spaces that do. This part of me greatly informs my practice as I aim to create and search for these liberatory spaces for my clients to explore all the vital parts of themselves. I strive to offer a therapeutic relationship that feels safe and authentic in order to support my clients in developing their skillsets and capacities to promote resiliency, self-acceptance, and liberation.

My approach is rooted in human-centered, relational modalities that support each person in moving toward deeper self-understanding and meaningful change. I draw from a range of trauma-informed practices to explore what’s causing pain, what’s keeping you stuck, and how we can work together to support you in making the changes you want in your life. I believe in engaging the mind, body, and spirit to holistically move clients toward their goals and promote inner healing by offering talk therapy modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in combination with somatic practices and mindfulness.

Professional Training:

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Child- Centered Play Therapy (CCPT)

MY Values

I bring a strong commitment to social justice into the therapy room, particularly in striving to support clients with queer, BIPOC, disabled, and other identities impacted by structural inequities. I understand that mental health doesn’t exist in a vacuum, and I work to create a safe space to unpack the impact of cultural, systemic, and political influences, both positive and negative, on my clients’ mental health. I believe that therapy should reflect not only clinical insights, but also the wisdom of your culture, your community, and your lived experience. I approach therapy with a mindset of curiosity and a deep respect for the fact that my clients are the number one experts in their own lives.
